While COVID is raging around the world, I’m facilitating two online book groups. Both are FREE and online. For more information and registration info, please see the links in the buttons below.

Rainbow Reads

What: LGBTQIA reading group

Where: Online, Zoom–see link in the button for details

Rainbow Reads is a free, bimonthly online LGBTQIA reading group for teens. Allies welcome! We read Young Adult LGBTQIA literature, focusing on queer experiences. Our activities include picture book storytime, guest LGBTQIA authors, discussing LGBTQIA artists, media, and issues, and recommending LGBTQIA works. Once per month, we dive into our discussion book.

The program features a FREE book box shipped to your house from Eugene Public Library (for Lane County, OR, USA, residents), or a free digital copy of our discussion books from Wordcrafters (for all those outside Lane County). See the website to sign up!

If you’re an author of YA LGBTQIA literature and you’d like to talk about your books to the students, please contact Ben.
